Natural samphire - 200g
Samphire are halophilic plants that grow in bays, salt marshes, estuaries. They are very rich in vitamins (A, B, C, D), minerals and trace elements. The natural samphire bears are preserved in water with a zest of lemon so as to maintain its original flavor of these small algae.
Drain the samphire then rinse them with clear water, heat in a pan with a bit of butter or thick Normandy cream add some finely chopped onions or shallots. Serve with fish or white meat with mashed potatoes or rice. They are also a wonderful addition to a fish stew.
